Heather Rollwagen

In addition to bringing her quantitative methodology expertise to our study and other interdisciplinary projects, Heather’s research program focuses on public perceptions of crime and the criminal justice system. She is particularly interested in how housing and the built environment shape the way individuals perceive their risk of crime.   She is  also interested in the politics of crime and crime control, and how public perceptions of crime are used to shape official responses to crime.
